Here are the changes for the upcoming version that will go live the following wednesday.
Improvements
- The launcher now shows the user if the update fails and with the reason (not enough space, security settings and/or firewall is preventing the download)
- The launcher and client now also cache their version and therefore prevent unnecessary calls to check if the version is up to date
- Conquest blueprints do now have a new color instead of also being blue like normal blueprints they now are colored in Cyan
Fixed Bugs
- Fixed a bug that prevented Energycells and other items to be collected by players
- Fixed a small visual bug in mission ORE SMUGGLING
- Fixed a bug that could trigger some kill missions to be impossible in squads, now the time you have is based on the squad
- Fixed a bug in few kill mission i.e. NEUTRALIZE TOUGH MENDER on Lustra that gave the wrong target enemy level in the text
- Fixed a bug that caused marked positions for a mission to also show on other planets and not just the planet they are meant for
- Fixed a bug that caused running promotions to not be there anymore once the server crashed
- Fixed a bug that could caused several orbit zones to not show squadrons in the zone menu, triggering squadron joining impossible in these zones
- Fixed some more users that still did not get the artifact achievement although they have all artifacts
- Fixed a bug that caused the hide quickchat settings to also hide the chat history when switching zones
- Fixed a bug that caused the alt+enter command to not just change to fullscreen but to start writing in chat
- Fixed several small server issues
- Fixed several small client issues
- Fixed some bugs in the client that could cause it to malfunction and even crash the client
- Fixed a bug that could cause achievements to create a negative number (if the bug already happend it might still show this until the achievement is updated)
- Fixed a bug on Server Korell that caused the Jail Zone to not work properly (other servers were not affected)
- Fixed a bug that caused players to see 0/X blueprints in the hangar although they have the blueprint and can build them in
- Fixed a bug that prevented rendering when user was using other programs with directX overlays enabled (Mumble, Teamspeak, etc.). Fullscreen triggered from browser version still won’t work with overlays.
- Fixed a bug that could cause players to be caught in an endless loading when switching a zone
- Fixed a bug that caused the third harvestor mission on Mars to not be shown to the players, this did trigger the sol white mission achievement to not be achievable
- Fixed a bug that caused the given warscore to be 2 for every alien kill no matter what the target was
