Changes to Player & Clan Ladders
- A pilot's collected Golden Skulls are now tracked as their "Skull Level".
- Pilots who win Golden Skulls ("boost their Skull Level") through reaching a reward position on the ladder will go back to the entry division.
- More activities to gain War Score are added (e.g. replaying missions, collecting BPs, PVP, etc.).
- The amount of War Score gained is displayed in tooltips for all ladder entries (can be viewed by any pilot).
- War Score rewards from OTB Conquest now go to pilots directly instead of their clans.
- A topic on War Score was added to the game's help window.
- The lower a pilot's Skull Level, the more War Score they gain (global War Score boost), until they reach a soft Skull Level ceiling still to be announced.
- War Score rewards receive a malus when WS is gained through the same actions over and over again (e.g. by killing the same unit, playing the same Mission, etc.) within the ladder evaluation period.
- War Score can only be gathered with Pirate Mode enabled, or in competitive game modes ("anything that has a scoreboard": Conquest, Reactor Challenge...).
- Extensive adjustments were made to the number and size of the ladder's divisions, reward positions, relegation/promotion slots, ranking criteria etc.
- These changes will only be fully implemented by the next ladder evaluation next Monday at 12:00 server time. As part of this evaluation, all pilots will be transferred to the Entry Division.
- Golden Skulls collected by clans can now be used to boost clan members' Skull Levels (2 boosts per week).
- There is a 14-day restriction for new clan members before they can receive Skull Level boosts from their clan's fund. The same goes for receiving cryonite and gravitons from the clan fund.
- The number of Conquest battles a clan has won is now displayed more prominently through a new icon in both Hall of Fame and clan window.

Changes to Pirate Mode
- The Bounty system is removed.
- Pirate Mode can be activated/deactivated freely while not on a planet.
- Pirate Mode is no longer deactivated automatically after a defeat.
- Landing on a planet with PM enabled is only allowed when the tech level meets the planet's requirements.
- Ship armor and items cannot exceed a planet's maximum ship level.
- Lower-level tech is allowed.
- Pirate Mode cannot be activated/deactivated as long as a mission is active.
- Whether a pilot has Pirate Mode enabled or not can only be seen once their ship can be attacked on the planet surface (not shown in orbit or with landing protection active).
- Pirate Mode mission achievements will not contain cross-system missions anymore to allow them to be finished.
Ladder Window Related Fixes
- List entries of deleted entities are now being handled properly in all situations.
- Includes "Fixed a bug that could lead to incomplete rendering of ladder entry layouts."
- Fixed page navigation buttons in the ladder window not updating correctly when switching between divsions.
- Fixed an issue where list layouts would not be fully filled when the "show my position" button was clicked and one's position was in the top section of the page.
- Fixed that under certain circumstances divisions' promotion and relegation slots could be assigned incorrectly. In general, there should no longer be any irregularities with regards to the filling of divisions.
Other Changes & Fixes
- Planets' moons can now be seen from the planet surface as well as in orbit.
- For Terasa, the nearby stargate can now be seen from the surface and in orbit.
- In general, orbiting objects which can be seen from the planet surface will no longer be affected by visual downgrades due to LOD (moons appear as round as they should).
- Eagle Eye Cortex range extension now works with all items whose range can be extended (not with e.g. Afterburner).
- Also fixed that Lightning Chain & Allies Cover now update their range properly and not just on item activation.
- Taunt Effect Strength for damage increase and repair reduction reduced by ~15%
- Increased Attack Field Turret range.
- Fixed Draconis / Sirius Ancient repair turrets strength (previously just had strength of rare items).
- Corrected the amount of Energy used by Sirius Ancient Magnet Array (was just a little too energy-saving).
- Corrected cryonite prices of several Sirius items:
- Small adjustments for TC item prices just to "iron out" kinks.
- Prices have doubled for almost all Sirius Ancient items (pricing was flat out wrong).
- Cryonite rewards for all Tau Ceti missions have been reworked to better match their required effort.
All Reactor Challenge scoreboards (except for RavenDynamics events) are now evaluated after one week (previously two weeks) and had their Cortex parts rewards adjusted to 15 parts max.
